There are moments in life when everything stops. Moments when the body speaks louder than our schedules, our responsibilities, or our plans. Moments when God whispers through the storm, “Daughter… slow down. I am here.” My healing journey was one of those moments. It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t easy. But it was holy.
Today, I want to open my heart and share what God taught me through one of the most challenging, transformative chapters of my life, my heart attack, my recovery, and the gentle path of natural wellness He placed before me.
❤️ 1. Your Body Is Holy Ground
When my heart failed, I had to face a truth I had ignored for years:
My body is not a burden. It is a creation of God, sacred and deserving of care.
For so long, I pushed through exhaustion. I skipped meals. I used harsh products. I numbed stress instead of addressing it. I ignored warning signs. But in that hospital bed, God spoke clearly to my spirit: “This is the only body I gave you. Honor it.”
That moment changed me forever.
🌿 2. Healing Begins With Removing What Harms You
After surgery, I realized something powerful: My body wasn’t failing me, it was overwhelmed.
I began removing:
-
- Chemical-heavy products
- Toxic skincare
- Stress-triggering habits
- Overcommitment
- Artificial ingredients
- People-pleasing patterns
- Foods that drained my energy
And as these things left my life, healing entered.
I discovered gentle, natural products.
I cleansed my environment.
I simplified everything.
God taught me: Healing begins when you stop poisoning your life — inside and out.
💛 3. God Works Through Nature
During my recovery, I felt drawn to simple, natural things:
-
- Warm herbal teas
- Natural skincare
- Whole foods
- Gentle supplements
- Quiet walks
- Sunlight
- Prayer
Little by little, I felt my strength returning.
It was during this time that God led me to discover Atomy, a company whose natural, clean formulations became a cornerstone of my healing. Their products were pure, gentle, and supportive, exactly what my healing body needed.
I often say: “God created the human body, of course He put healing in nature.”
🌸 4. Peace Is Part of Healing
Stress had been living inside my body for years.
During recovery, I learned that peace is not optional — it is medicine.
God taught me to:
-
- Guard my heart
- Protect my energy
- Rest without guilt
- Say “no” when needed
- Sit quietly with Him
- Slow down
- Release fear
- Let Him carry the heavy things
When my spirit calmed, my body calmed.
Healing began to feel less like a struggle, and more like a surrender.
🕊️ 5. You Are Not Alone, Even When You Feel Weak
There were days when I cried. Days when I was afraid. Days when I felt fragile and unsure. But in those moments, God met me. Not in lightning, not in thunder, but in the quiet.
“My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
I felt Him in:
-
- The soft morning light
- The calm in my spirit
- The encouraging phone call
- The doctor with gentle words
- The slow but steady progress
Healing showed me the nearness of God in ways I never knew before.
✨ 6. Healing Is Not a Return, It Is a Rebirth
People often ask me: “Eydie, do you feel like you’re back to where you were before your heart attack?” And I smile softly and say: “No… I am better.” Because healing didn’t take me back, It took me forward.
It birthed:
-
- A new mission
- A new lifestyle
- A new sense of purpose
- A new appreciation for natural living
- A new spiritual intimacy
- A new compassion for others
- A new business that helps people heal
The El Shaddai Atomy Center was born out of this rebirth, a place where others can find the peace, purity, and hope that God showed me.
🌼 From My Heart Heart to Yours
If you are walking through your own healing journey, physical, emotional, spiritual, or all three, please hear me:
You are not alone.
You are not broken.
You are not behind.
You are being rebuilt, beautifully, intentionally, lovingly.
Healing is not a punishment. It is an invitation.
An invitation to slow down…
To listen…
To remove what hurts you…
To embrace what restores you…
To trust God with every breath.
And when you are ready, I would be honored to walk with you.
With love, grace, and gratitude,
Eydie Claassen
